This college prep writing course for high school students in 11th or 12th grade is designed to follow Academic Writing I. Academic Writing II builds on the skills and process-based approach of the first course, moving into more formal, research-based writing.
Assignments anticipated include:
- Summary & Response Essay
- Describing a Conversation
- Researched Argument
- Researched Argument Remix
Several shorter assignments such as a topic proposal, source analysis and annotated bibliography will be included as process work for the researched argument.
